6kW Fuel Cell Engines

The standard Anuvu Fuel Cell
Engine is a 6 kW Proton Exchange Membrane fuel cell power source with complete balance of plant. Plans are
in development for a 240 kW fuel
cell engine to serve as the primary power source for the San Francisco
Bay
Area Water Transit Authority 149 passenger Treasure Island Ferry boat.

The Anuvu Fuel Cell Engine also
comes with a Hybrid Power Management System option.
The advantages of the Hybrid Power Management System include:
Sharply lower capital costs Increased lifetime for both batteries and fuel cells

This is the engine that now powers the Anuvu Clean Urban Vehicle that will compete at this year¡¯s Michelin Bibendum Challenge rally from Sonoma to San Francisco. This same engine now powers the 30-foot Duffy Electric Water Taxi in Newport Beach, California.
